Paying a personal visit to a potential consignor is always an interesting endeavor. Some present startlingly valuable and rare pieces others present run-of-the-mill material that is not right for auction. Some startle with their interesting or unique approaches to collecting and others impress with the sheer size and scope of their collections. Still others impress with their eye for quality and such was the case with our 1933 Goudey consignor. Nearly 150 cards assembled one by one in an effort to complete the highest-quality midgrade set possible and as you can see from simply scrolling through our listings the result was a very strong attractive collection.Presented here is a larger grouping of 22 cards each graded VG/EX 4 by PSA. All 22 cards boast a strong appearance many appearing much stronger than the assigned grade. Color and centering is almost always above average as is overall registration and image quality.
