Lot Description  

Beautiful complete 8-card set of "Famous Film Stars" issued in 1940 by Sherman's Pools Ltd of England. Each oversized (3.75" x 5.25") card features a beautiful colorized image of one of the era's top film stars the reverse containing biographical information on the celebrity pictured on the card. The set includes Joan Crawford Errol Flynn Priscilla Lane Myrna Loy Mickey Rooney Margaret Sullivan Spencer Tracy and Robert Young. The cards are absolutely beautiful with technical grades averaging EX-MT to NM due to minor corner and edge wear. Eight simply gorgeous cards.
