Pair of fantastic postcards depicting different cigar stores with each of the two depicting advertisements and point-of-sale posters familiar to prewar hobbyists. The first depicts an older woman standing in the doorway of a Cigars and Tobacco store likely in the South Dakota area an assumption we are basing on the ad for Blue Valley Buttermilk just inside the door. The window advertising includes brands like Turkish Trophies Fatima Cracker Jack and a host of others. The second postcard depicts a store likely in the Worcester MA area (due to an ad that appears in the window) featuring an artfully-arranged Ramly display taking up the majority of the window. Both of the postcards are in exceptional condition with clean images postally unused with light numbers written on the reverse of each. Two interesting postcards depicting cigar store window displays and featuring brand names and advertisements well-known to prewar collectors.
