Simply spectacular example of a seldom-seen Chicago Cubs team postcard touting the 1907 World Championship ballclub. Featuring Hall of Famers Frank Chance Three Finger Brown Johnny Evers and Joe Tinker the postcard depicts 17 different player busts each encircled in a stylized baseball with a cartoon bear along the left. In the center of the postcard is a felt "pennant" affixed to the card itself a white lace ribbon woven into the pennant's left edge. This is an unbelievable specimen graded FAIR 20 by SGC due to postal use in late 1908 (though no postmark) and a fancily-handwritten message on the reverse. An extremely rare postcard one of the more rare and desirable of the many different team postcards of the early champion Chicago Cubs.
