Considered by many to be the most beautiful card in the fantastic 1933 Goudey Sport Kings set this example of Giants Hall of Famer Carl Hubbell is simply fantastic for the grade with the eye appeal of an EX condition card. Well-centered with reasonably square corners and bright color some minor wear and foxing are the card's most visible flaws save for what appears to be a very minor abrasion in the blue area near the white border of the card. The abrasion is visible under halogen lighting and magnification and upon 40x magnification is revealed to be a very difficult-to-see wrinkle in the paper likely present in the paper when it was printed. Still the minor wrinkle is the bidder's gain as it takes the technical grade of the card to the VG level though certainly not its eye appeal.
