Despite its small size (just 24 cards) the 1933 DeLong set is one of the most difficult to complete in high grade of all the sets of the era. The colorful design of the cards and the high concentration of Hall of Famers make the issue desirable despite the lack of a Ruth; the Lou Gehrig is one of his most popular cards. This example featuring Hall of Famer Kiki Cuyler has attained a grade of NM 7 due largely to slightly touched corners; the centering and print registration are far stronger than is typical for the issue.
