Simply spectacular ink blotter advertising Hood Canvas Shoes with the tagline "Good athletes are built from the feet up." The blotter features Jimmie Foxx and an unknown US Olympian (the brand was endorsed by Foxx and US Olympic head coach Lawson Roberson at the time). The colorful unused blotter is in amazing condition just lightly touched corners keeping it from true mint. We have seen very few Hood advertising pieces featuring Foxx; the brand became far better known for its PF Flyer and PF brand shows the brands that BF Goodrich began marketing under in 1937.
