Part of a six-card set of cards issued only in the Milwaukee area to promote Gold-Mine brand ice cream each card features then home run king Roger Maris. The blank-backed cards feature six different images of Maris each unnumbered each with facsimile signature on the card front. While the cards are relatively scarce today the "batting stance" card is the most plentiful of the six with 17 total examples graded. Just seven examples have been graded higher than this which are the only seven examples of any card in the set graded higher than 6.5. Regardless an exceptional and highly desirable card particularly among Maris collectors.
