Beautifully sharp rookie card of the Hall of Fame quarterback graded MINT 9 by PSA. Incredible print quality and registration with deep rich color very faintly off-center from left to right. One of the more popular players of his era from a football set devoted to the fledgeling USFL. Kelly was a member of the incredible 1983 draft class that featured some of the game's greatest quarterbacks including John Elway Dan Marino Tony Eason Kenny O'Brien and Todd Blackledge. Kelly was drafted by the Buffalo Bills but held out and signed with the Houston Gamblers leading the league in passing in 1984 and 1985. Though Kelly was to play for the USFL's New Jersey Generals when the league folded leading Kelly to Buffalo where he would spend his entire career.
