The team cards from early Topps issues have long been condition-sensitive due to registration issues as well as writing on the checklist reverses. As team cards became incorporated into the player sets on the PSA Registry demand increased making them quite desirable. This example of the New York Yankees team card is simply lovely graded NM-MT 8 by PSA with strong centering and color and as sharply registered as one is likely to see with these cards. Despite being a card with a considerably high number of graded examples in the PSA pop report (nearly 800 in total) just six examples have graded higher than this - two reaching as high as MINT 9 with an additional two grading NM-MT+ 8.5. A wonderful card.
