Produced by the Texas Gum Company in 1910 the E105 Mello Mint set is a favorite amongst caramel card collectors who enjoy a challenge. While some samples from this set show with some frequency others are exceptionally rare. To our knowledge no complete set has so far been put together. Graded “very good” by SGC this E105 card of Dave Shean features the second basemen in a great pose bent over and ready to scoop up a ground ball and in front of a brilliant orange sunset. This sample does have some corner wear scuffing and a corner crease but no major flaws that distract from its overall appeal.
