Excellent grouping of T206 Hall of Famers led by the stunning portrait pose of Browns pitcher Rube Waddell one of the most colorful characters of his era (and a personal favorite). The card extremely well-centered with minimal wear aside from the corners attained its grade in the early days of GAI"s startup the "1st Graded" designation indicating that this card was the first T206 Waddell to be graded VG 3 by the company. Cards graded early in GAI"s tenure as a going concern are generally known to be graded fairly and accurately with the enthusiasm of a startup operation with a solid reputation. Also included in the lot are the Willie Keeler portrait pose (graded VG 3 by PSA) the Roger Bresnahan "with bat" pose Zack Wheat and oft-overlooked Hall of Famer George Davis the three latter cards graded VG 40 by SGC.All five cards present well for their grades but are marred by minor flaws that keep the cards out of higher holders be it minor creasing edge and corner wear or minor dirt or staining. Still an opportunity to acquire five key Hall of Famers from the hobby"s most popular prewar issue.
