Arguably the most scarce of the four Ty Cobb cards in the T206 issue the "Bat On Shoulder" variety is a difficult yet very popular card. "Affordability" being a relative term an "affordable" T206 Cobb is not a particularly easy thing to find particularly one not marred with creases and paper loss. This example has significant flaws - mainly discoloration from some sort of staining - but the card itself is intact and relatively crease-free.The staining in question is plainly visible on the card front and reverse as it discolors the entire card. Yet the card"s inherent attractiveness is still visible underneath Cobb poised in his batting stance choked up on the handle perhaps preparing to slap a fastball to the opposite field.
