Among T206 collectors cards with print anomalies are holy grails. Multi-strike reverses wet sheet transfers blank backs and miscuts are highly-coveted message board fodder particularly as T206 scholars try to piece together the puzzles of T206 production. How were the cards laid out on the print sheets? Which cards appeared near which others? What is the purpose of stray numbers and registration marks that occasionally appear on the card reverses? Here are two similar examples of top/bottom miscuts each of Cincinnati"s Bob Bescher each with the same print anomaly - the card is cut so that the player"s name and team affiliation is printed on both the top and bottom of the card. Each with extaordinarily large borders the printing can be clearly seen on both sides of the card (although the name on the bottom of the Sweet Caporal example is visible but not legible). Each of the two examples is graded by SGC and features a different back variety. The first graded POOR 10 with a large tear in the center features a Sweet Cap reverse while the second graded GOOD 30 due to corner creasing has a very attractive Polar Bear back.An interesting pair of cards each with the same print anomaly which could potentially suggest something about this card"s position on the print sheet.
