Scarce colorful composite featuring members of the champion 1946-47 Almendares Baseball Club. Featuring Negro League star baseball ambassador and shamefully not-yet-Hall-of-Famer Buck O'Neill as well as stars Adolfo Luque and Max Lanier. The piece has clearly experienced some wear but displays better than most other examples of this piece we have seen. A tough-to-find piece that would display very well particularly if it were professionally framed. A very attractive piece desirable among Caribbean and Negro League collectors.
