Beautiful imperial cabinet photo composite depicting the 1905 Caldwell Ohio "Snake Eaters" ballclub. Established in 1899 the "Snake Eaters" were an amateur team based in Ohio. The cabinet mount has been subject to a great deal of wear as one can see though the writing "Annual Outing Perry's Den '05" can still be read at the bottom of the mount. The photo itself is in reasonable condition protected from much of the damage by the mount and depicting fifteen people associated with the team each identified inside their image. Along with the photo is a newspaper containing an image of the cabinet along with some detail on the team. A tremendous collectible.
