A big-game pitcher with a devastating curve Overall went 23-7 with a staggeringly low 1.68 ERA for the World Champion 1907 Cubs part of an incredible pitching staff that included Three-Finger Brown Ed Reulbach Carl Lundgren and Jack Pfiester. That staff compiled a team ERA of just 1.73 for the season.
