Yet another scarce T206 with the Cycle 460 back this card of baseball legend Fred Merkle has been graded VG 40 by SGC. The Cycle 460 reverse is considered the 15th most scarce of all T206 backs according to T206Resource and the premiums at which Cycle 460s have been selling is an excellent indicator of their demand. This example which retains strong eye appeal despite the grade is the second-highest graded example available with just four total known copies having been graded. Part of an original owner tobacco card collection originating in the Philadelphia area this is an attractive and scarce card one of those amazing cards that can be a part of such a wonderful and popular set overall plentiful in available copies and yet still scarce within this particular variety.
