Two of the biggest boxing stories of 1935 are represented on these two British cards. Joe Louis was tearing his way through the pro ranks having blasted his most recent opponent former heavyweight champ Max Baer. The Louis card offered here is one of his accepted rookie cards. The grade while technically accurate due to surface indentations does not reflect the eye appeal of the card. Also presented is then-champion Jim Braddock the Cinderella Man (and New Jersey native) who had risen from the welfare rolls to the pinnacle of the sport. Two cards total.
