The T223 Dixie Queen tobacco issue is known as one of the most difficult "T" sets the cards significantly more scarce than their T220 cousins. The cards appear very similar utilizing the same poses but are slightly smaller and printed on a more coarse paper. They are far more difficult to find as evidenced by the fact that PSA has graded fewer than 200 examples in total compared with more than 3 000 of the T220 white-bordered cards. Needless to say a collection of 26 different cards from the set is quite a significant grouping more than half a complete set. Each of these cards have been graded by PSA and some are the highest-graded examples known. A breakdown of the cards by grade is as follows: PSA EX-MT 6 (4 cards): Burke (1/1 1 higher) Carney (1/1 highest graded) Erne (1/2 highest graded); Maher (1/1 1 higher) PSA EX 5 (4 cards): Cross (1/1 highest graded) Goodman (1/1 highest graded) McCoy (1/1 highest graded) McAuliffe (1/1 highest graded) PSA VG-EX 4 (6 cards): Frayne (1/1 1 higher) Jackson (1/3 1 higher) Ryan (1/2 highest graded) Welsh (1/1 1 higher) Randall/Turner (1/1 highest graded) Jeffries/Sharkey (1/1 1 higher); PSA VG 3 (6 cards): Donovan Edwards Heenan Mace (1/1 highest graded) Mitchell Wilson (1/1 1 higher); PSA GOOD 2 (4 cards): Corbett Dixon Jordan Moore PSA POOR 1 (1 card): Beecher (1/1 1 higher) PSA PR 1 (MK) (1 card): Lavigne. 26 cards total including eight that are currently the highest-graded examples to have been assessed by PSA.
