Interesting and attractive collection of tobacco packages and memorabilia each featuring attractive graphics and strong presentation. Collection includes seven unique pieces each featuring or advertising a different tobacco product. Contents include: 1) Helmar Turkish Cigarettes Package: colorful cigarette box with tax stamp still affixed approximate very good condition with minor wear. Cigarettes have been removed. 2) Lorillard "Mechanic"s Delight" Long Cut Tobacco Package: sealed in plastic wrap package still contains tobacco and is unopened but does not contain tax stamp. A small amount of loose tobacco appears to have escaped from the package though there are no visible holes in the wrapping itself. 3) Fatima Turkish Trophies paper holder: metal "clip" capable of holding papers this spring-clip contains a hole on the reverse for possible wall-mounting as well as a clasp at the front for including a photo or trade card. We are including a Fatima actress card of Edna May Spooner. Piece is in excellent condition with a dark patina; card is in EX condition as well. 4) Seal of North Carolina Plug Cut Metamorphic Trade Card featuring an image of a woman resting with eyes closed. Hold the card to light and the woman is seen smoking eyes open. Card is in good condition with some water staining at the bottom right and several folds throughout. Pencil writing on the reverse. 5) Kimball Co. folding ad which appears to have once been bound into a string-bound booklet or pamphlet in VG/EX condition as a standalone piece. 6) Mayo"s die-cut postcard: high-quality postcard with incredibly detailed die cut edges and extraordinarily vivid color. Piece appears in EX/MT condition but the reverse has pencil writing ("Christmas 1894") as well as glue residue from scrapbook mounting. 6) Lorillard "Golden Cupid" die-cut advertising display. Small (approx. 5x7") double-sided window display for Golden Cupid cigarettes in Good condition with creasing on Cupid"s legs.A unique and interesting collection of vintage tobacciana featuring many of the era"s most memorable brands.
