One of two postcard-sized promotional cards issued by Old Gold Cigarettes featuring Jackie Robinson as an endorser of the brand this example is the "dugout" variety (the second example depicts Robinson in the fieldt). Highly desirable and somewhat difficult to obtain this collector-grade specimen exhibits several flaws on the card front including clear tape stains and paper loss at the bottom (ostensibly resulting from the removal of similar tape) along with significant soiling/toning. Despite the flaws a difficult and highly desirable card featuring the great Jackie Robinson at the beginning of his legendary career.
