Author of 138 major league home runs Hall of Famer Roger Connor owned the career record before it was surpassed in 1921 by of course Babe Ruth. Connor is also the first major leaguer to hit a grand slam - the classic grand slam with two outs in the bottom of the ninth and his team down by three. This example pose #88-4 is graded POOR 10 by SGC due to paper loss on the front as well as back damage. The paper loss surprisingly does not detract much from the quality of the card image which is strong with excellent contrast. Connor is considered the 10th most scarce Hall of Famer in the N172 set and this pose appears to be among the more scarce of the four different available Connor poses.Population DataSGC Population: 28 total graded 5 at this level 20 higher*PSA Population: 2 total graded 0 at this level 1 higher*Please note that SGC does not differentiate between N172 pose variations in their population reports so the number of cards with this pose they have graded is unknown. The figure above represents all the cards of this player they have graded with all poses.
