Card #301-9 in the N172 set as checklisted in The Photographic Baseball Cards of Goodwin & Company this card of Hall of Famer Tommy McCarthy exhibits some wear and specks of paper loss on the front along with a mild stain in the upper left. Still any 19th Century Hall of Famer is a desirable card regardless of grade and an N172 such as this with a crisp well-contrasted image is even more so.
