Lot Description  

One of two cards in the 1907-09 Novelty Cutlery issue to feature two players (the other featuring Ty Cobb and Honus Wagner) this example features Cubs infielder Johnny Evers alongside Tigers infielder Germany Schaefer second base opponents in the 1907 World Series. Graded AUTHENTIC by PSA due to what appears to be a slight trim along the left edge the postcard has been postally used in October of 1911. Despite the grade and postal use an exceptional example of a tough postcard.
