I have one to sell!
Simply spectacular 1961 New York Yankees team photo professionally matted and framed to a finished size of 31 1/2" x 31 1/2". The black and white photo includes a white bottom border signed by 34 different members of the team and staff. The 35th signature that of Mickey Mantle sadly is a "vintage" signature that experts at one time believed was authentic and part of the natural progressions of Mantle's signature over the years but later was determined to be a clubhouse signature. All the other signatures on the photo however are authentic. Signatures included on the photo are as follows: Luis Arroyo Fred Bengis (Batboy) Yogi Berra (HOF) John Blanchard Clete Boyer Tex Clevenger Jim Coates Frank Crosetti (Coach) Bud Daley Joe DeMaestri Al Downing Whitey Ford (HOF) Bob Hale Elston Howard Billy Gardner Jim Hegan Ralph Houk Tony Kubek Hector Lopez Mickey Mantle (clubouse) Roger Maris Gus Mauch (Trainer) Wally Moses (Coach) Spud Murray (Batting Practice Pitcher) Frank Prudent (Batboy) Hal Reniff Bob Richardson Johnny Sain Roland Sheldon Bill "Moose" Skowron Joe Soares (Trainer) Bill Stafford Ralph Terry Earl Torgeson and Bob Turley. The only signatures missing from the photo aside from the aforementioned Mantle are those of outfielder Bob Cerv and traveling secretary Bruce Henry. It should be noted that while this piece does not currently carry third-party authentication it originates from the collection of one of the best-respected and most experienced autograph dealers in the hobby and is guaranteed by Love of the Game (with the exception of the Mantle of course) to pass third-party authentication according to our terms and conditions. Please bid with 100% confidence. While 1961 Yankees signed "reunion" photos are fairly plentiful in the hobby team-signed photos this complete are truly a rarity. Thirty-four signatures including the batboys trainers and batting practice pitchers along with the elusive Roger Maris signature an outstanding document of one of the game's greatest teams.
