Collection of four collector-grade Yankees scorecards from the 1920s. Includes 1) 1924 Scorecard: poor condition with apparent water damage unscored with surface and edge wear. Interior scorecard pitts the Yankees against the Indians Babe Ruth in the lineup in right field Wally Pipp at first. 2) 1926 scorecard: poor condition unscored vs. Washington Senators. Poor in just about every way completely separated pages with tears and surface wear throughout. 3) 1927 Scorecard; partially scored against the Detroit Tigers. Ruth and Gehrig both in lineup. Game is partially scored in ink with a note: "Rain temporarily stopped the game and I left. Final Score - Yanks 5-6-0. Tigers 3-12-0. Ruth hit his 17th homer." Assuming the writing is authentic to the period this would indicate the game was played on June 5. Fair condition pages mostly separated paper loss at top left corner tears and folds throughout. 4) 1928 Scorecard; unscored vs. Chicago White Sox. GOOD condition with some paper loss and edge wear. Excellent display value in this collection of four off-grade Yankees scorecards each of which features Babe Ruth.
