"Headin' Home" was a 1920 silent film starring Babe Ruth released in 1920. The film was partly financed by gambler Abe Attell a key figure in the 1919 Black Sox scandal. The film itself can be viewed on YouTube - if you've got some time to kill you can watch it in its entirety here: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zlCjRlUfVH4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> The 8" x 10" photo depicts Babe lifting a block of ice and is in POOR condition due to various bits of paper loss around the edges creases and a tear repaired with clear tape. The reverse is stamped September 21 1920 and August 17 1924 with various pencil notations written throughout. An interesting photo of Ruth from the beginning of his meteoric rise as an American icon.
