Grouping of three New York Yankees player contracts signed by a number of Hall of Famers and Yankee greats. Collection includes the following: 1) 1941 contract with Charlie Keller. Signed by Keller and team president Ed Barrow as well as AL President William Harridge dated April 14 1941. Keller's 1941 season for which he was paid $10 000 was excellent - finishing fifth in the MVP voting he hit .298 with 33 home runs and 122 RBI both career highs. Contract is in outstanding condition with folds into thirds and some unassociated pencil writing in a lower corner of the reverse. 2) 1947 contract with Ralph Houk. Houk was paid $5 125 for the 1947 season his rookie year during which he hit .272 with 12 RBI in 104 plate appearances. Houk would only accumulate 66 more plate appearances in his entire 8-year career as a Yankee but would famoulsy go on to become a Yankee manager. Signed by Houk and dated July 1 1947 also signed by team owner Larry MacPhail and league president William Harridge. In excellent condition with minor rust spots in the upper corner from a paper clip. 3) 1948 Contract with George "Snuffy" Stirnweiss. Stirnweiss earned $16 000 for 1948 during which season he hit .252 with 32 RBI. Signed by Stirnweiss along with Hall of Famer George Weiss (Yankees VP) and William Harridge. EX/MT condition with some very minor soiling and wrinkling. Three outstanding contracts with multiple key signatures of Yankees stars and Hall of Famers.
