Lot Description  

Attractive letter from Richie Ashburn to a fan written in August of 1966 on Phillies letterhead. The letter thanks the recipient named Sandy for the card and then advises that he is enclosing an autographed photo as requested. The letter concludes "Hope you are having a pleasant and enjoyable summer - rooting for the Phillies." Ashburn signed the letter in blue ink. A strong and simple letter clean and well-preserved.
