In the scarce and condition-sensitive 1953 Stahl-Meyer set any card with a grade above POOR is a hobby victory. This example of Yankees Hall of Fame shortstop Phil Rizzuto has achieved just that: a grade of FAIR 20 from SGC. The grade is largely due to eye appeal since the card does exhibit creasing and some paper damage but still appears to be a strong-looking card with relatively vivid green color and minimal hot dog staining.
