5 3/4" x 9 1/8" softbound 1899-1900 catalog from Bucknell University.  144-page catalog includes information about University classes and curricula, and a list of students.  Page 20 notes one Christopher Mathewson, Jr. of Factoryville, today one of Bucknell's most famous alumni.  Mathewson enrolled at Bucknell in the fall of 1898 and played baseball, football and basketball.  By 1900 he was a major league pitcher, by 1901 a star.  Today he is one of the most widely-collected players of his era.  Apparent EX condition with light wear at the corners and edges, and some light discoloration at the edges as well.
