Collection of the first six issues of Sports Illustrated.  Each issue does exhibit wear from reading.  Collection includes: 1) August 16, 1954: First issue.  GOOD condition, spine still intact, baseball cards are still bound inside the center properly.  Wear is evident at the spine and cover, with some moderate toning to the interior pages.  2) August 23, 1954: Second issue.  Appears in VG condition, the letter "S" stamped at the top of the cover.  Some light creasing at the corners and edges consistent with use.  Baseball cards are still tightly bound inside the magazine.  3) August 30, 1954: VG/EX condition, with light use, mailing label still affixed.4) September 6, 1954: GOOD condition, light use, some long-ago folds flattened out of the cover.  Mailing label still affixed, some wear at the edges, spine and corners. 5) September 13, 1954: VG/EX appearance with some wear at the spine and edges, mailing label still attached.  6) September 20, 1954: VG condition with some corner and edge creasing, mailing label still attached.  The first six issues of the greatest sports publication ever.
