Promotional matchbook from Mickey Mantle's branded Holiday Inn in Joplin, MO.  The hotel was a typical Holiday Inn, but contained display cases in the lobby that housed "the personal baseball awards of Mickey Mantle."  Memorabilia from the hotel is quite desirable today, as collectors seek out oddball items related to the Yankee superstar.  This matchbook, which is unused but has been relieved of all its matches, bears the signature of Mantle in blue Sharpie on the white area of the piece.  LOA from James Spence Authentication.
