Captured during spring training, the central image provides a unique over-the-shoulder view from behind the umpire as Koufax prepares to deliver from the left side. General handling wear with a few crop marks appearing in red along the top and right edges. Photo is heavily toned throughout, especially on reverse, where handwritten notations appear providing context to the image. A date stamp of March 17, 1965 appears towards the left edge.
