Interesting real photo postcard dating to 1915, featuring a photo of newsboys from the Milwaukee Leader newspaper presenting dolls to Lena Blackburne, Hap Felsch, Ray Schalk and Nemo Leibold. Charles Comiskey hosted more than a hundred Milwaukee Leader newsboys at a doubleheader on July 11, 1915. According to the Chicago Tribune, they "rooted hard for the Milwaukee graduates - Schalk, Blackburne, Felsch and Liebold. At the start of the second game there four players were presented doll babies by the president of the Newsboys' association." The postcard has received a grade of GOOD 2 from SGC, due largely to surface soiling and corner wear. The only example of this very unusual postcard we have ever seen, featuring a Hall of Fame catcher in Schalk, and one of the "Eight Men Out" in Hap Felsch.
