Likely dating to 1899, one of the earliest seasons of the Nebraska Indians barnstorming team founded by Guy W. Green.  The long-running team won more than 80% of its games, often billed as the "Only Ones On Earth," as inscribed in this cabinet photo.  The photo does exhibit quite a bit of fading, the mount well-worn and stained.  The reverse does reveal some paper loss and the telltale signs of a strip of clear tape.  Regardless of all that, a significant image of a barnstorming team as widely collected as the House of David or Bloomer Girls teams.
