Gorgeous card of Henry Louis Aaron, who still holds the career RBI (2,297) and Total Bases (6,856) records. To put the latter in perspective, that's more than 116 miles of base running!

Centering is a notorious problem with the 1955 Topps issue, and it is on this example, too, with the image residing south and east on the horizontal canvas. The colors are bright and beautiful, from the yellow background to the reds and blues of the hat, name box, and Braves logo. While the corners are soft, the edges are strong. Some faint ink marks keep the card from a higher grade, but this offering still has tremendous eye appeal.

1955 was only Henry's second season, and after only 13 home runs in his rookie year, no one had any idea the player he would eventually become. In a bit of serendipitous foreshadowing, the answer to the "True or False" game box on the card's back references Babe Ruth, whose career home run record would be broken by Aaron nearly 20 years after this card's issue.
