This portrait displays the subject's shadow on the orange to red gradient background behind him, a rarity in the T206 set. The beautiful black J C lettering on Dan Moeller's white uniform stands for Jersey City, for whom Moeller played in 1910 and 1911 before being called back up to the Majors where he spent the next five full seasons. Rounded corners and some edge chipping are consistent with the grade, and the centering is just slightly west on the canvas. A crease in the top left corner and some staining on the Sovereign back explain the card's technical grade.
