One of the few horizontal images in the T206 set, this gorgeous example depicts Joe Birmingham at the top of his throwing motion getting ready to launch a ball back to the infield from centerfield. A yellow to orange gradient sky over a green grass background add some color to the perfectly framed pose. A minor case of diamond cutting is the only thing keeping this card from being perfectly centered and balanced, with consistently sharp and clean borders on all four sides. The Sweet Cap back also presents beautifully and is nicely centered, giving this card equally wonderful eye appeal on both sides.
