Among the difficult 20-card Oxford Confectionery set, Ty Cobb is one of the most important, and clearly among the most valuable cards in the issue.  The set is a unique and interesting one, featuring 14 eventual Hall of Famers including Babe Ruth, Walter Johnson and Grover Alexander.  Each of the set's sepia-toned cards measure 1 5/8" x 2 1/4" and are generally fraught with condition issues.  This example has been graded GOOD 2 by PSA due to overall wear that is clearly most notable at the corners.  Some edge wear is evident in the form of slight chipping and age-related discoloration; surface wear consistent with the grade is also visible upon closer examination.
