Henry Aaron backed up his 1957 MVP season in which he led his Braves team to a World Series title by finishing 3rd in MVP voting and winning his first career Gold Glove Award. His 1958 Topps card #30A, not surprisingly so, shows The Hammer smiling, in an extreme closeup in front of a green background. Topps used color to define the 1958 set, and Aaron ended up with one of the better combinations, this one with white letters.

Centering is just ever so slightly north and west on the canvas, with the BVG holder grading it at 7.5. Corners are graded at 6.5, Edges at 8, and Surface at 7.5, resulting in an overall grade of NM 7. A gorgeous card with tremendous eye appeal.
