Rich in color, this midgrade example of Tris Speaker's only T206 card pictures the Boston outfielder preparing to swing the bat.  The deep blue background serves as an outstanding contrast to his light uniform, the print registration on point here.  Reasonably sharp for the grade, some softer top corners likely keep the card from the EX level and top-to-bottom centering conspire to keep it from higher plateaus, but the overall visual appeal remains outstanding.  A tremendous card, rapidly rising to the higher echelons of desirable subjects in this popular issue.
