The first full-blooded Native American to have played in the Major Leagues, Moses Yellowhorse played two seasons with the Pirates, pitching a total of 38 games with a lifetime ERA of 3.93. Injuries and alcohol rendered him unable to play major league ball after 1922; he was sent to pitch with the Sacramento Senators of the PCL for 1923, where he is pictured on this ultra-scarce Zeenut PCL card. Graded FAIR 1.5, the primary culprit responsible for the grade is ink writing on the reverse. Though somewhat soiled with some mild surface abrasions and wrinkles, the card presents stronger than the assigned grade.
