Lot Description  

c.1950's pair of news service photos featuring Hall of Famer Jimmy Foxx. Includes: 1) Approx. 7" x 9" photo featuring 1926 image of a youthful Foxx posed in a catching position. Typical light handling wear associated with working news service photos and a credit stamp on verso from United Press International. 2) 8" x 10" photo featuring an image from the 1930's. Gently toned verso also displaying credit stamping from United Press International. Both examples remain vintage, developed from original negatives during the 1950's, and are guaranteed to return as Type 2 if submitted to PSA.
