Sharp, midgrade 1926 Zeenut of Dick Kerr, a member of the 1919 White Sox who was not a co-conspirator in throwing the 1919 World Series and, in fact, won both games he started.  A perennial holdout, Kerr signed to play semipro ball in Chicago in 1922 and was ultimately suspended for doing so.  He attempted a comeback in 1925 but could not regain his earlier form, and was released at the end of the season.  He continued in the PCL and Texas League for a few seasons and ultimately found success as a manager.
