The N300 George Haddock card is an interesting and important card in the 48-card set because it proves that the set was issued over the two-year period of 1894 and 1895. Haddock's card was initially issued with "Philadelphia" on the front as he started the 1894 season with that team before moving to the Washington Nationals. After leaving Philadelphia, the card's artwork was revised but rather than add "Washington" to his shirt no team was added at all, a sign that the card was manufactured after he departed Washington but before his retirement from the game was known. This card presents extremely well for the assigned grade, the primary condition flaw the result of the edge chipping so prevalent with this issue, along with mild soiling.
