Interesting 1922 letter from Otto Floto, sports editor of the Kansas City Journal, to American League President Ban Johnson.  The letter addresses Johnson's stated belief that gambling was bad for the game of baseball, and conveying some information about Chicago Cub pitchers giving "tips" to gamblers on games.  A very interesting post-Black Sox perspective on potential illegalities still going on in the game.
