Sherry Magee's portrait variation a a legendary T206 variation rarity, but this one, showcasing the Phillies outfielder and his potent power bat, is perhaps the more apt pose. Graced with speed as well, Magee was a formidable player and concluded his career as part of the 1919 Cincinnati Reds, who beat the White Sox in a tainted World Series. There IS a variant here though, in the apple green Sovereign 350 reverse, one of two shades this back is found with in the 350 run. The corners are the main culprit in the PSA 2 grade, with the robins egg blue sky background looking tasty still. The reverse has some soiling a product staining visible.
