Extremely rare die-cut oversized E125 card featuring Boston's Abby McConnell.  Graded AUTHENTIC by PSA, the E125 issue is extremely desirable and highly coveted by vintage collectors; its rarity and beauty make the cards the subject of spirited bidding whenever they become available.  In many cases the die-cut cards have developed paper loss at the thinner areas over time, and many have had their bases trimmed away by young collectors of the era.  In this case, the card exhibits minor wear consistent with the grade, but is otherwise intact, all its small, thin cardboard pieces displaying wonderfully.  The AUTHENTIC grade is likely due to repairs made to small tears on the piece; the holder prevents us from being certain about this but the condition is certainly well-worn, with significant creasing that could well have developed into tears.  Regardless, a very rare and highly sought after card.
